When the President asks, you have to answer. Mariah Carey revealed to Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle that she was having twins, according to hubby Nick Cannon.

Cannon revealed that while Carey was performing at TNT's Christmas in Washington 2010 special on Sunday, she ran into the Obamas backstage. "They, ironically enough, questioned my wife about, you know, 'So, what are you having, are you having twins?'" he said on his Rollin' With Nick Cannon radio show on Thursday.

"And at this point she hadn't told anybody anything because doctors advised us to keep it to ourselves until we get further along," he continued. "And because of the excitement, because of the emotion, she was overwhelmed [and] she shared with the President and First Lady that we are having twins."

Cannon and Carey, who suffered a miscarriage right after the couple's wedding in 2008, have kept quiet about many details surrounding her pregnancy, and have yet to reveal the due date. –ISHITA SINGH
