Promoter Goldernvoice announced dates for the return of shows to the Empire Polo Grounds in Indio, California, after they were delayed for two years due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Coachella is making its return on April 15-17 and April 22-24 and the country music festival Stagecoach is returning April 29-May 1.

The 2021 Coachella was going to take place April 9-11 and April 16-18 but was canceled because of Riverside County’s public health orders. Frank Ocean, Rage Against the Machine and Travis Scott were set to make appearances in the 2021 concert.

Goldenvoice has not announced 2022 lineups for either of the festivals, though nearby events already know which bands and artists will perform. Hard Summer (Aug. 31-July 1; Future and DJ Snake), BottleRock Napa Valley (Sept. 3-5; Guns N’ Roses, Stevie Nicks and the Foo Fighters) and the Life Is Beautiful festival, which takes place in Las Vegas (Sept. 17-19; Green Day, Billie Eilish and Tame Impala).

Other California venues like the Hollywood Bowl and the Greek Theatre announced rescheduled shows for the summer and fall of 2021. California is scheduled to reopen on June 15 and will remove the majority of restrictions on outdoor events. Indoor venues and nightclubs still will have some regulations on crowds, however.

Coachella tickets will be available for sale on Friday and tickets that were purchased before the pandemic will be valid for the 2022 event.
