CNN Host Don Lemon’s Sister, L’Tanya Lemon Grimes, Dies In Accidental Drowning
CNN anchor Don Lemon’s sister, L’Tanya “Leisa” Lemon Grimes, has died. She was 58.
According to The Times-Picayune, Grimes died after accidentally drowning in a neighborhood pond.
“Thanks everyone for your words of sympathy,” Lemon, 51, tweeted on Thursday. “Please keep my family in your prayers. Leisa was my oldest sister & partner in crime growing up. Always had my back.”

Lemon’s family thanked people for their condolences in a statement.
“We are leaning on each other for strength at this time,” the family said.” We appreciate privacy as we grieve the loss of our loved one.”
Fellow CNN anchor Jake Tapper tweeted his support for Lemon.
