CMA Music Festival: Country’s Night to Rock Out delivered three hours worth of performances by country’s top artists from Nashville’s CMA Music Festival in June, and included never-before-seen footage and a major reveal.

Broadcast on ABC, Country’s Night to Rock Out featured sets by Taylor Swift, Jason Aldean, Carrie Underwood, Luke Bryan, Kelly Clarkson and Darius Rucker. Hosted by Little Big Town, the special also featured behind-the-scenes interviews with the musicians and even had a cameo by the cast of A&E’s Duck Dynasty.

Aside from the notable performances was an important announcement about the upcoming CMA Awards. Little Big Town revealed that Underwood and Brad Paisley would host the annual country music event for the sixth consecutive year. "Carrie and Brad are the consummate hosts," Ed Hardy, president of the CMA board of directors, said in a press release.

"They have the respect of our industry, artistic credibility, critical acclaim and a quick-witted, genuine rapport that makes them popular with our audience and the viewers at home. We are delighted to have them back as hosts for the sixth year."

The 47th CMA Awards will air on ABC on Nov. 6.
