Claudia Jordan Walks Backs Confirmation Of Jamie Foxx, Katie Holmes Romance

Claudia Jordan, the former Real Housewives of Atlanta star, apparently did not confirm that Jamie Foxx and Katie Holmes are a couple after all.

Earlier this week, Jordan seemed to verify the long-swirling rumor that Foxx and Holmes are dating one another during an interview on the Allegedly with Theon Von & Matthew Cole Weiss podcast. When asked about the couple, Jordan told the hosts, “He is very happy with her, so I like that he seems very happy.”

Predictably, the three-second soundbite made headlines, as it seemed to be the first confirmation of the Foxx and Holmes romance. However, Jordan is now saying that she didn’t exactly know what she was talking about.

“I have no knowledge of Jamie with Katie at all. I’ve never seen them together, he’s never told me he’s dating her,” Jordan told Entertainment Tonight. “A lot of times, I get asked questions about celebrities – some I know, some I don’t – a lot times we just give a safe kind of generic answer. Sorry to not have this bombshell story, but I cannot confirm them.”

“I don’t have the knowledge of this being fact, I don’t. I misspoke,” Jordan added. “I hate that this has blown up like this and I feel like a lot is being put on a three-second clip from a podcast. I just want my friend to be happy with whoever he’s with, but I don’t even want to know anymore! It’s none of my business and again, I’ve never seen them together.”

Despite Jordan rescinding her confirmation, many other sources claiming to be close to the actors are telling multiple outlets that the rumors – which first started back in 2013 – are true.
