Claudia Conway, Kellyanne & George Conway’s Daughter, Lashes Out At Parents For ‘Failed Marriage,’ Silencing Her Views

Claudia Conway, daughter of White House adviser Kellyanne Conway and anti-Trump conservative George Conway took to Twitter to claim her parents are silencing her freedom of speech.

Earlier this week, Claudia went viral for her anti-Trump and pro-Black Lives Matter TikTok videos. Her account is now private, though her profile picture is still visible: a list of names of black people killed by police.

After her TikTok following started to grow, she spoke with Insider in a story published on June 30, about her political views and her parents.

“I grew up in a very, very conservative family, so I was only exposed to those views for a very long time. I decided to educate myself and think for myself,” she said, later saying that her political views are “100%” leftist and liberal.”

Her father was clearly not pleased with journalists interviewing his daughter, as he tweeted a few days later on July 3:

“To journalists: @kellyannepolls and I do *not* consent to any communications between you and any of our minor children, including our daughter Claudia. So desist. Thank you.”

In response, Claudia tweeted, “you’re just mad that i’m finally getting my voice heard. sorry your marriage failed 💅🏼,” before following up with more tweets suggesting that her parents are trying to silence her political views. The tweets have all been hidden, as Claudia’s Twitter, and all other social media accounts have been privated, but copies and screenshots still exist across the internet.

“bahah im not angry im chillin im just over both of my parents trying to silence me,” she tweeted, later adding, “my parents, particularly my mother, are trying to silence me by getting me to delete my social media. haha”

She went on to say, “i have a right to my freedom of speech. i’ve been nothing but respectful….”

“i’m aware but coming from someone who has been bullied and badgered her entire life because of her parents, i am frustrated. my frustration is valid! i couldn’t care less about media exposure— i’ll use whatever platform i’ve given, big or small, for good,” she said in another tweet.

And she even had a critique of her press coverage: “lil psa that my name isn’t “kellyanne conway’s daughter” or “george conway’s daughter”! my name is claudia: nothing more, nothing less. @ the media!!”
