John Clark Gable, Clarke Gable’s son, was arrested on the suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol on Tuesday in Malibu, Calif.

Gable crashed into six parked cars near the Malibu Pier while driving a white Ford pickup truck, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department. No one was injured in the accident, but Gable was put under arrest on suspicion of drunken driving and for committing a hit-and-run.

Gable was released from prison after posting $15,000 bail, reported the Malibu Patch.

Back in 2011, John Clark Gable’s son, Clark James Gable, got into trouble with the law when he was found pointing a laser inside the cockpit of a Los Angeles police helicopter as it flew over Hollywood, according to CNN affiliate KTLA-TV. Although his manager denied the 22-year-old had any malicious intent, he was charged with a felony and served 10 days in jail.

Less than a year ago, John Clark Gable made headlines again when his girlfriend, makeup artist Christiane Candice Lange, was found dead at the home they shared together, according to USA Today. Her death was ruled a prescription drug overdose.

Clark Gable, the late actor and patriarch, was best known for playing Rhett Butler in 1939’s Gone With the Wind. He died in 1960, four months before John Clark Gable was born.
