Christina Applegate Shows Off Stylish Walking Sticks For ‘Important Ceremony’ Following MS Diagnosis
Christina Applegate isn’t letting her multiple sclerosis diagnosis stop her from looking slick at an event.
The actress, who is known for Dead To Me and Anchorman, plugged a company that makes fancy walking sticks, as they are part of her “new normal” with the disease.
“This will be my first time out since diagnosed with MS,” Applegate said.
She plugged the company Neo Walk Sticks, which provided her with the canes.
She didn’t clarify what event she was turning up to, but it could be a promotional event for the Dead To Me, which will be airing its third and final season on November 17.
Back in 2008, Applegate detected the early stages of breast cancer, which occurred due to a genetic predisposition for the disease.
She was announced cancer-free after a double mastectomy.
She has participated actively in several fundraisers and benefits for breast cancer research.
When she was first diagnosed with MS, Applegate said on Twitter, “It’s been a strange journey. But I have been supported by the people that I know who also have this condition. It’s been a tough road. But as we all know, the road keeps going. Unless some a––hole blocks it.”
Applegate is married to the Dutch musician Martyn LeNoble, and they have one daughter together.
