Christina Applegate has revealed that she has been hospitalized over 30 times in the past three years due to severe gastrointestinal issues linked to her multiple sclerosis (MS) diagnosis.
During a recent episode of her MeSsy podcast, co-hosted with Jamie-Lynn Sigler, Applegate discussed her ongoing health challenges, including frequent vomiting, diarrhea and excruciating pain. She shared that despite undergoing numerous medical tests, the exact cause of these symptoms remains unclear.

Applegate suspects that these gastrointestinal issues may be related to motility problems caused by MS, which can shut down organ function. She emphasized the importance of patients advocating for their health and consulting with their doctors about such symptoms.
Diagnosed with MS in 2021, Applegate has been open about the impact of the disease on her life and career. She has previously spoken about the physical and emotional toll, including experiencing sharp pains and mobility challenges.
