Christina Aguilera became the latest celebrity on Instagram to bare it all with an empowering selfie.
Aguilera took to Instagram Wednesday to share a picture of herself in nothing but a pair of hot pink panties and a leopard-print fedora standing in front of her bathroom mirror.
“Just so you know with me, it’s all real, all the time,” Aguilera captioned the picture. “Felt like it was time to start sharing some personal stuff with you guys… And it’s just the beginning. Night night. X.”
Aguilera gave birth to her second child and first daughter Summer Rain in August 2014 with her fiancé Matthew Rutler. The singer gave birth to her son with Jordan Bratman, Max Liron , back in 2008.
Aguilera’s picture, taken roughly a year after she gave birth to Summer Rain, has drawn comparison’s to Kim Kardashian‘s recent nude photo in which she showcased her bare baby bump to silence her critics.
“First they say I’m too skinny so I have to be faking it…Now they say I’m too big so I have to be faking it,” Kardashian captioned the picture.
In addition to upping her selfie game, Aguilera is hard at work on her eighth studio album.
“I’m very excited to pour my heart out into this record fully. I’ve been gathering and writing and coming up with these amazing ideas for different parts of how I was feeling the past year, so I’m really excited to vocalize all of it and make it all come together,” Aguilera told Extra. “[My new music] is genuine and heartfelt.”
