Christina Aguilera To Coach The Voice Season 8

Aguilera was one of the original coaches on The Voice, alongside Adam Levine and Blake Shelton, who will also be returning for another season. New coach, Pharrell Williams is staying on for Season 8 as well.

NBC announced the news on Tuesday, saying, “We are excited to welcome Christina back to her red chair and can’t wait to see how she mixes things up among Adam, Blake and Pharrell, in what will be an incredibly competitive competition. These four talented artists are at the top of their game as musicians and as coaches. The mentoring is sure to be intense and the stakes will be high.”

Aguilera also announced her return on Twitter, writing, “New baby. New Music. New season of The Voice.”
