Christina Aguilera Tour Canceled

Christina Aguilera has called off her summer tour, which was set to begin mid-July in Connecticut. The singer, who was supposed to be touring with Leona Lewis, cited a busy schedule and needing more time to rehearse. The tour was canceled four days after the tickets went on sale — causing wags to speculate poor ticket sales were to actually blame.

Her latest album Bionic, set to drop the first week of June, has received mostly negative reviews from news outlets. Aguilera also gained negative attention in the past few weeks for an alleged feud with Lady Gaga, which Aguilera denies. –ELENA COX
