Christina Aguilera, 42, has set many fashion trends herself in the past decades. This time, she’s joining celebrities like Kendall Jenner by wearing tights as pants.
In an Instagram post from the weekend, the pop singer shared a series of photos on Instagram, including one where she wears nothing but a pair of black, high-waist tights.
Aguilera recently talked to Health magazine about her perspective on body positivity and mental health. She said that she often has a difficult time looking at pictures of herself in her 20s because she felt so “insecure” at the time. She also cited yoga as essential for improving her mindset.

The other photos capture Aguilera wearing a tight black dress with puffy sleeves and her recent experiences shooting music videos for her latest album.
“A few moments from the Aguilera archives,” she wrote in the caption of the post. “One whole year of La Fuerza… It’s more than just music, it’s the memories, the collaborations and so many moments I feel lucky to have shared with all the beautiful minds behind this project.”
La Fuerza, which roughly translates to The Strength, is the first of three parts from the pop star’s 2022 album, Aguilera. It’s her first Spanish-language album since Mi Reflejo in 2000.
Aguilera said that the album was made to pay tribute to and connect herself with her Latin American heritage.
She received the Latin Grammy Award for Best Female Pop Vocal Album for the project.
