Christie Brinkley and John Mellencamp were seen leaving the Bowery Hotel in New York on Monday after a dinner date.
The supermodel, 61, was all smiles as she exited the hotel with Mellencamp, 63, on her heels. The two had spent an hour having dinner before leaving together in Mellencamp’s car.
Brinkley has been rather private about her dating life since her divorce from Peter Cook in 2008. “Most of the time, I’ve got my kids with me, so I’m not as prone to meeting people,” Brinkley told Prevention in 2010.
In January, Brinkley explained to Entertainment Tonight that dating men in her age group was getting more difficult. “It seems like during this period that most of the guys are like 38, 39, 42, like that sort of age group. [With] men my age I feel quite invisible to them.”
Mellencamp’s most recent relationship with Meg Ryan lasted three years, and ended in August, although the two have remained friends.
