Florida’s election troubles have been well documented, but in case anyone is unaware, actor Christian Slater, 43, has taken to Twitter to voice his frustration after learning that his ballot was not counted.

Slater learned that his vote didn’t count after the signature on his provisional ballot did not match the signature on his registration records. “Hilarious! I really tried! 5 hours in line,” he tweeted, along with the picture of the letter he received from officials explaining why his ballot was thrown out. The letter refers to him as Christina.

Slater's revelation continues his Election Day saga, chronicling the abortive poll experience, starting with: "I've been on line for a total of four hours trying to vote? Next time, absentee." Slater followed with, "Made it in the room only to find out the DMV didn't register me when I got my new license. They asked me if I wanted to reg and I said yes." Later: "So, now I'm standing by and waiting while this guy tries to get the State on the phone I guess. I really want to vote." And finally: "I voted!!!!!"

Slater’s latest project, Bullet to the Head, with Sylvester Stallone is slated for a February 2013 release. He also appeared in Soldiers of Fortune, and the less successful Hatfields and McCoys project of 2012, Hatfields and McCoys: Bad Blood.
