John Legend and his longtime model girlfriend Chrissy Teigen were married in Italy on Saturday.

Legend and Teigen announced their plans to wed earlier in the year, revealing that they intended to tie the knot in September. On Saturday, the pair exchanged vows in Lake Como in front of their friends and family. Legend’s rep has also confirmed the nuptial news.

Kanye West, Stevie Wonder and Brooklyn Decker were among those in attendance, reported Us Weekly.

Early Sunday morning, Teigen appeared to also confirm the news via her Twitter account, writing, “Phew. I gotta say, that was a hard secret to keep from you guys.”

Teigen, who caused a bit of a Twitter uproar earlier in the week after retweeting a nude picture of her in bed with Legend, was fully clothed during the wedding proceedings, wearing a total of three dresses during the event. All three of Teigen’s dresses were Vera Wang – an ivory strapless gown with a tulle skirt and embroidered details on the bodice, another ivory strapless gown with a pleated bodice and an organza skirt and finally, a strapless crimson dress with a mermaid gown, according to People.

Legend and Teigen were engaged in 2011 and have been dating for seven years. Legend’s track “All of Me,” off his latest album Love in the Future, was written specifically with Teigen in mind. “Cause all of me/ Loves all of you/ Love your curves and all your edges/ All your perfect imperfections,” goes the song’s chorus.

“Give your all to me/ I’ll give my all to you/ You’re my end and my beginning/ Even when I lose I’m winning/ Cause I give you all, all of me/ And you give me all, all of you.”

Legend had planned to sing the song at their reception.
