Chris Soules And Whitney Bischoff Are Latest ‘Bachelor’ Couple To Split

The Bachelor‘s Chris Soules and Whitney Bischoff have decided to split up six months into their engagement.

The Bachelor creator Mike Fleiss was the first to break the news on Twitter, saying that the pair had broken off their engagement.

Soules and Bischoff later released a joint statement, confirming the split. “Whitney Bischoff and Chris Soules have mutually and amicably decided to end their engagement,” reads the statement. “They part with nothing but respect and admiration for one another and will continue to be supportive friends. They wish to thank everyone who has supported them through this journey.”

Rumors started to plague the couple when it was noted that Bischoff was not in attendance at all of Soules’ Dancing with the Stars appearances. After Soules’ was eliminated, he posted pictures of Bischoff on his farm in Iowa, quieting the rumors of a split.

“Her first day planting corn! @whitb624 #farmerintraining,” Soules captioned a picture with Bischoff in front of a tractor just two weeks ago.

Bischoff was also present during the live finale of Dancing with the Stars, posing with Soules and his parents.

In January, Andi Dorfman, who chose Josh Murray over Soules in the last season of The Bachelorette, announced that things didn’t work out with Murray either, and they too called of their engagement.

Currently, Kaitlyn Bristowe, who vied for Soules’ heart on his season of The Bachelor is trying to find love on The Bachelorette.
