Dean Cain has reacted to claims that Chris Pratt was a white supremacist.

On Fox News Thursday, Cain said that he was “stunned” at accusations that Pratt was a white supremacist because he was photographed wearing a Gadsen flag T-shirt.

“There’s nothing in the world racist about the Gadsen flag,” Cain said. “That flag symbolizes liberty and independence.”

The flag existed since the Revolutionary War era and was recently popularized by the Tea Party.

“I’m wearing a shirt – it says coffee or die,” he said, noting that the shirt was a spoof of the famous image of a snake divided into 13 pieces, which was originally captioned “Join or Die” by Benjamin Franklin.

Cain noted that Pratt is most likely being targeted because he is openly supportive of the military.

“He does a lot of things for our troops,” said Cain.
