If you've ever wondered what kind of superpowers the child of Thor might have, you're about to find out. The God of Thunder himself, Chris Hemsworth, 28, and his Fast Five-starring wife, Elsa Pataky, 35, are about to be first-time parents.

"Chris and I are delighted, very happy and excited," Pataky told Hola! magazine. "Since it's our first child we don't care if it's a boy or girl, our only wish is that it's healthy," she said.

Before the baby is due this spring, Hemsworth, who tied the knot with Pataky in December 2010, is going to have plenty of studying to do. The Australian actor will be brushing up on his Spanish, Pataky's first language. "I'm only going to speak to the baby in Spanish," she revealed, so she told her hubby, "'Get ready fast with Spanish because, if not, you're not going to be able to understand what we say.'"

In addition to his new bundle of joy, two highly anticipated films starring Hemsworth will also be arriving this spring — Joss Whedon's The Avengers, also starring Robert Downey Jr., Jeremy Renner, Scarlett Johansson, Chris Evans, Samuel L. Jackson and Gwyneth Paltrow, followed by Snow White and the Huntsman with Kristen Stewart.
