Captain America will take a break from saving the world at-large and turn his attention towards saving new parents from a night of reading to their children. Chris Evans, the actor who plays Captain America in Marvel’s hit franchise, will appear on CBeebies Bedtime Story on BBC on May 10.
Evans will read the book Even Super Heroes Have Bad Days by Shelly Becker and Eda Kaban and will follow in the footsteps of Tom Hardy, who has appeared several times on CBeebies in the past.
Even Super Heroes Have Bad Days is about teaching children to harness their energy and power into doing something good.
Besides Hardy, Rosamund Pike and Isla Fisher have also appeared on CBeebies to read English children their bedtime stories. Evans appears to be the first American celebrity to read on the show.
CBeebies Bedtime Story with Chris Evans will air on the BBC on May 10, at 6:50 p.m. in the U.K.
