Chris Evans married girlfriend Alba Baptista over the weekend.
The small, intimate ceremony took place at their home on Cape Cod, Massachusetts. Several notable guests at the weddings included Evans’ Marvel Cinematic Universe co-stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth and Jeremy Renner. Evans and Baptista also invited their closest family and friends to the ceremony.
Evans and Baptista were confirmed to be dating for over a year last November. Aside from several Instagram posts made by Evans, their relationship has remained mainly private.
While Evans is best known for his roles as Captain America in both the Captain America and Avengers film series, Baptista is an up-and-coming actress.

Evans has recently voiced a desire to start a family, saying, “That’s absolutely something I want,” he told People in a November 2022 interview.
Baptiste initially got her start in Portuguese-language roles. She won her first English-language job in Netflix’s Warrior Nun and had a part in Mrs. Harris Goes to Paris. Baptiste, whose mother is a translator, can speak five languages.
