According to a lawsuit filed yesterday, Chris Brown is being accused of drugging and raping an unidentified woman in a yacht during a party at the home of Sean “Diddy” Combs in Miami on December 30, 2020.
The woman, who said she is a choreographer, model and music artist, claimed in the suit that Brown spontaneously invited her to the party in the affluent Star Island neighborhood of Miami when she was FaceTiming a friend at the party. She said Brown suddenly noticed her on the phone and grabbed it, insisting she come over soon.
When she arrived, the woman said Brown was initially friendly and welcoming, inviting her into the docked yacht’s kitchen and mixing her a drink. According to the docs, the woman said she suddenly felt an “unexplained change in consciousness” as Brown filled her second drink. She said she became “physically unstable, and started to fall in and out of sleep,” and Brown then led her to a bedroom on the yacht.
The woman claims Brown repeatedly ignored her requests to stop and blocked her attempts to leave the room, before raping her. She said once Brown ejaculated inside her, he announced he was “done” and left her to rejoin the party. According to the documents, she got a text from Brown the next day demanding that she take Plan B, the abortion pill, which she did.
The woman is being represented by attorneys Ariel Mitchell and George Vrabeck, who added that she didn’t report the rape at the time because she was embarrassed by it due to being a medical student.
The woman is seeking $20 million in damage and said she has withstood severe emotional distress from the alleged assault.
