Singer Chris Brown, 20, reached a plea agreement Monday that will prevent him from going to jail for assaulting his then girlfriend, singer Rihanna. Brown pleaded guilty to felony assault and will be sentenced to five years probation and 180 days of community service and a year of domestic violence counseling. Brown must also stay at least 50 yards from Rihanna. "Mr. Brown, I think it's commendable that you took responsibility for your conduct," Judge Patricia Schnegg told him.
