“Freaky Friday” singer Chris Brown was immediately arrested after finishing his set at the Coral Sky Amphitheatre in West Palm Beach, Fla., on Thursday. Officers were at the show and subsequently escorted Brown to the cruiser.

The 29-year-old was reportedly arrested on an out of county warrant by the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s office for felony battery. He posted $2,000 bail and has been released.

The warrant was originally issued in April 2017 after Brown allegedly “sucker-punched” a photographer at a club called AJA Channelside in Tampa, Florida, police say. The victim claimed the rapper had assaulted him for taking pictures of him. Brown left the club before police arrived at the scene, where the photographer reportedly denied medical attention for a minor cut to the lip. However, he did say he intended to prosecute Brown.

On Facebook, the club released a statement regarding the incident:

“Incidents like the ones caused by Chris Brown and his team are very sad to see. As everyone witnessed he showed up to the club at around 1:30am. After only a few minutes of being there, Chris Brown himself and his team assaulted our club photographer and proceeded to walk out of the venue. AJA Channelside and our employees apologize for the inconvenience,” the statement continued. “Assault charges were pressed and we are dealing with the proper authorities accordingly. We appreciate your constant support!”

Seemingly in reference to the arrest, Brown posted an Instagram picture with the caption, “What’s NEW?????” with an eye-roll emoji.

However, most know this isn’t the singer’s first run-in with the law. In 2009, he was charged with assaulting his then-girlfriend Rihanna for which he received probation and mandated community service. He’s also been in and out of rehab over recent years.

Brown is currently on his Heartbreak on a Full Moon tour, which will end on Aug. 4.
