Chris Brown Appears To Be Choking A Woman In New Photos, Both Claim It Was Playful

Singer Chris Brown, 28, was seen in photos appearing to choke a woman – but both claim it was a “playful” interaction.

On Monday while partying at a rented home in Miami for the Ultra Festival, Brown was photographed with his hands around a woman’s neck. In some of the photos, the woman is smiling and seems to be laughing but in others she looks distressed. In the photos, another unidentified woman is seen pushing Brown and the woman apart as if the “horseplay” is getting out of hand.

Brown’s lawyer Mark Geragos told TMZ, “She’s a friend. It’s obviously playful as she confirmed.” He added, “Whoever invaded their privacy will be held accountable.”

Considering Brown’s history with women, the concern is understandable. In 2009, the singer assaulted Rihanna, 30, before the Grammys and was sentenced to five years probation and six months of community service. Later in 2017, Karrueche Tran, 29, accused him of multiple offenses including domestic violence and was granted a permanent restraint order against him.
