Chord Overstreet Cut From 'Glee' Cast
Chord Overstreet, 22, who made waves on Glee last season as Sam Evans, has been axed as a cast regular for season three. "Well its been a good yr too bad its over," the actor tweeted Friday. "Time for summer and starting fresh."
Darren Criss, who plays Blaine, and Harry Shum Jr., who plays Mike, will both gain full-time slots this fall. Creator Ryan Murphy declared that some of the show's main characters would exit the show by the end of season three. "We didn't want to have a show where they were in high school for eight years," Murphy told Ryan Seacrest recently.

I wonder why he got cut? I don't watch Glee, but from what I've read and heard from fans he was a really popular character on the show.
