While her sister Halle has been kept in the bright spotlight recently, Chloe Bailey, 24, has taken a step forward to share it.
On Monday night, one-half of the Chloe X Halle duo headlined the “Juneteenth: A Global Celebration for Freedom” concert. The event took place at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles.
Chloe performed “What’s Love Got To Do With It” in honor of the late Tina Turner. The 24-year-old wore a tattered shimmering red dress, similar to Turner’s 1978 flame dress designed by Bob Mackie. Turner died of natural causes last month.
Others in attendance were Vice President Kamala Harris and performers Charlie Wilson, Nelly, Miguel, Kirk Franklin, SWV, Davido, Coi Leray and Jodeci.
