A Chinese boy got his head stuck in one of the holes of a balcony's stone balustrade at a government building in Hezhang County, China on Sunday, and firefighters had to be called to the scene to dislodge the boy's head.
It was no easy task. After unsuccessful attempts to squeeze the boy's head through, rescue workers had to use a pair of hydraulic spreading pliers to widen the stone pillars so the boy could free his head from the narrow opening.
The boy was safely — albeit a bit tearfully — set free, examined by doctors, and reunited with his concerned grandmother.
