Child Star Matthew Mindler’s Death Ruled As Suicide

Matthew Mindler was recently found dead after being reported missing near the campus of Millersville University in Millersville, Pennsylvania. The university reported him as missing after he failed to attend classes on Wednesday, Aug. 25. He was last seen leaving his residence hall the previous night.

Days later, the university provided an update in the form of a statement from Millersville University president Daniel A. Wubah, reporting Mindler’s death. Mindler’s body was taken to the Lancaster County Forensic Center for further investigation.

Mindler’s death was then ruled a suicide, although the specific cause is still unknown. Millersville University shared a final post on Aug. 31 with resources on suicide awareness and mental health counseling for Millersville students.
