Chicago Fire actress DuShon Monique Brown died Friday at the age of 49.
According to TMZ, Brown checked herself into the hospital earlier this week after experiencing chest pain but was released shortly. Reports say Brown died at St. James Olympia Field Hospital after 12 p.m.
Executive producer Dick Wolf issued a statement to the Chicago Tribune. “The Chicago Fire family is devastated to have lost one of its own. Our thoughts a prayers are with DuShon’s family and we all will miss her.”
