Who Is Cherry Seaborn, Ed Sheeran’s New Fiancée?

Cherry Seaborn was the inspiration for Ed Sheeran‘s hit love song, “Perfect,” and now she’s going to be his bride.

Seaborn was seen strolling through the streets of London last week sporting a casual black sweater, collared white undershirt and flashing her new engagement ring.

The long-term couple, originally high school sweethearts while they went to Thomas Mills High School in their hometown of Suffolk, announced their engagement on Instagram. “Got myself a fiancé just before new year. We are very happy and in love,” Sheeran captioned the photo of he and his bride-to-be, adding “And our cats are chuffed as well xx.”

Although the couple is known for keeping a low profile, rumors of their relationship began in 2015 when they were seen in New York City together, where they reconnected after years apart through mutual friends. In September of 2015, they were spotted in Las Vegas, hanging out for Labor Day Weekend with DJ Calvin Harris. In 2018, rumors have already begun to surface that the couple may be planning to marry in their hometown in Suffolk, according to ITV News.

Sheeran once told Rolling Stone, “One day this will [all] f–king end. And I know the one person that’s going to remain constant is Cherry.”
