Cher debuted her latest single, “Woman’s World,” on the The Voice finale Tuesday night.

Described by The Voice host Carson Daly as the “Goddess of Pop,” Cher, 67, debuted the girl-power dance anthem in an extravagant and fun performance.

That’s not to say the experienced performer wasn’t nervous. Cher’s performance Tuesday night was her first live television performance since 2003. “It wouldn’t be bad if it was a concert, but to be in front of a gazillion people made it a little bit uncomfortable and nerve-racking,” she said.

Cher said that on a recent trip to Russia she got sick and her throat gave her a hard time, which left her voice faltering. She didn’t let a bad throat stop her from having fun on stage, though. “I think what I didn’t have with my voice, I covered with having a good time!” she said.

Cher’s new album, “Closer To the Truth,” will be released September 24 of this year.

Cher was the final celebrity performer on The Voice finale Tuesday night, where 16-year-old country artist Danielle Bradbery was crowned the winner.
