Cher and her new beau, Alexander Edwards, showed up wearing black gear at the Warner Music Group Pre-Grammy Party at Citizen News Hollywood in Los Angeles on February 1.
The singer, 77, opted for a black long-sleeved shirt and jeans encrusted with gems instead of a traditional gown.
Edwards, 37, was matching his girlfriend, wearing a black suit and black shirt while holding on to each other.
The “If I Could Turn Back Time” singer has been criticized for her relationship with the music producer because of their 40-year age difference.
“I’M IN [heart emoji] NOT BLINDED BY IT. I’m Not Defending us. Haters are gonna Hate…” she said on social media when responding to a fan. “Love doesn’t know Math.”
Cher recently shared the struggles of dating someone decades younger than her.
“Sometimes I’m talking to him, and he has no idea who I’m talking about,” she said.
Cher has been in the news lately after suing to take control of son Elijah Blue Allman‘s finances while he struggles with drug addiction.
