Chelsea Handler, ever eager to taunt Instagram and its rules on nudity, wished her famous pal Reese Witherspoon a happy birthday with a naked mirror selfie.
Handler took to Instagram Tuesday, posting an image of herself striking a strategic pose in her closet in front of a lit mirror. The comedian posted it for Witherspoon’s benefit on her 40th birthday.
Witherspoon had also taken to Instagram Tuesday, sharing a snap from her birthday dinner, writing, “This is 40 … I am one lucky gal✨??.”
Witherspoon has actually been celebrating her birthday for a few days. On Saturday, she posted a screengrab of a Snapshot that read, “Birthday selfie!!”
“Crazy on the dance floor? ??? #BirthdayWeekend #MomsInTown ??,” the Oscar-winner captioned a clip with her mom in the backseat of a car.
Witherspoon was on her way to the Warwick in Hollywood for a New Orleans Mardi Gras-themed bash that she was hosting for herself. In addition to Handler, Kate Hudson, Jennifer Aniston, Justin Theroux, Courteney Cox, Matthew McConaughey, Robert Downey Jr., Isla Fisher, Conan O’Brien, Chris Martin and Tobey Maguire were there. Taylor Swift and Keith Urban doubled as attendees and performers, singing “Shake It Off” and “Sweet Home Alabama” at the fete.
