Chelsea Handler bashed Instagram for removing a topless picture of herself in which she’s channeling Russian President Vladimir Putin’s shirtless horseback ride.

Chelsea Handler & Vladimir Putin

Handler posted a picture of herself on Instagram next to the infamous picture of the shirtless Vladimir Putin on his horse. Similarly, on a horse and shirtless, Handler imitated the Russian politician, daring Instagram to take down her picture. “Anything a man can do, a woman has the right to do better,” Handler captioned the picture the first time around. The second time around she wrote, “Taking this down is sexist. I have every right to prove I have a better body than Putin.”

Ever defiant, Handler posted the side-by-side Instagram post once again, writing, “If Instagram takes this down again, you’re saying Vladimir Putin has more 1st amendment rights than me. Talk to your bosses.”

Unfortunately for Handler, Instagram didn’t mind implying that Putin has more of a 1st amendment right and did opt to take the picture down again. Handler was not impressed. She captioned a picture of the notification, “If a man posts a photo of his nipples, it’s ok, but not a woman? Are we in 1825?”

In light of the censoring, Handler has decided to take her pictures elsewhere and is boycotting Instagram.”You can now find my dogs and my breasts on Twitter only where my followers have the right to choose what they say. Bye bye instablock,” Handler captioned a picture of her two Halloween costume-clad dogs.
