Chelsea Handler shared a video showing her skiing nude, with a drink and marijuana join in hand, as her boyfriend Jo Koy trailed behind her. The Chelsea, Lately, host rang in her 47th birthday on Friday.
The caption on her Instagram wrote, “47. Doing all the things I love with the man I love” while sporting an American and Canada flag over each nipple. Attached to her helmet were the American and Canadian flags and a piece of material draped across her back that read “Koy,” referring to her boyfriend.
Koy also took to Instagram and posted photos of them getting ready to head down a mountain. He captioned it, “Skiing makes her smile! Happy birthday, love!”
He also took to his Instagram Stories, posting several videos showing Handler blowing out candles on her birthday cake and opening gifts, including a new U.S.A. ski jacket.
Handler confirmed her relationship with Koy back in September when she took to Instagram. “Just sitting here in Mallorca thinking about how grateful I am to have so many people that I love in my life, to live the life I do, and to be going on tour doing what I love,” she captioned her post. “And that I’m finally in love, with the best guy of there is,” she wrote. “There is hope for everyone! That kind of stuff.”
Handler also credited Koy with renewing her faith in men, she wrote on Instagram in November.
“Do you know how hot it is to have a man be turned on by my honesty, strength, and confidence?” she wrote. “Someone who loves the fact that I’m not going to take anyone’s s–t and isn’t intimidated or emasculated by my fierceness? Jo has renewed my faith in men.”
The Are You There, Vodka? It’s Me, Chelsea author also reassured fans not to lose hope in finding someone special.
“For everyone who is still looking for their person, do not adjust who you are or make yourself smaller to find them,” she advised. “Be patient and never settle for anything less than you deserve. Your person is coming, and sometimes – they’ve been standing in front of you the whole time.”
