Charlie Sheen, 44, will serve 30 days in jail in a plea deal for allegedly assaulting wife Brooke Mueller, 32, last Christmas Day. "With good behavior, he could end up doing 15 or so days,” a source tells People.

Sheen was charged on Feb. 8 with felony menacing, misdemeanor third-degree assault and misdemeanor criminal mischief for the incident, which occurred while the couple was vacationing in Aspen, Colorado.

The plea deal would allow Sheen to serve out his jail sentence before the new season of “Three and a Half Men” begins shooting in August.

Sheen was arrested and briefly jailed on December 25 after Mueller reported to the police that he’d threatened her with a knife during a dispute over divorce. The couple separated and is currently sharing custody of their twin boys, Max and Bob. NATTHAKAN GARUNRANGSEEWONG
