Charlie Sheen Hospitalized, Will Return To Work Soon

After he was found naked in a trashed New York City hotel room, Charlie Sheen checked himself into a hospital Tuesday morning for intoxication, according to police reports. He was released Tuesday night and headed back to Los Angeles.

"Charlie will be working this week doing a cameo role, playing himself, in a small movie as a favor to a friend and has every intention of going back to work on Two and a Half Men on Tuesday," his manager Mark Burg said to People. "He's looking forward to working."

Ex-wife Denise Richards hasn't given up on the troubled actor yet. "I have a lot of faith in my ex," she said on Wednesday's Today Show. Richards was in a nearby room at the Plaza Hotel with the couple's young daughters when Sheen allegedly went on his rampage.

Sheen said that the situation had been blown out of proportion in an interview Wednesday afternoon with Radar. "The story is totally overblown and overplayed as far as the reality of the scenario.” –ISHITA SINGH
