Meghan Trainor and Charlie Puth kissing at the American Music Awards
Meghan Trainor and Charlie Puth sang an electrifying version of their hit song “Marvin Gaye” at the 2015 American Music Awards that they punctuated with their own make-out session.
Puth started off his AMA performance of “Marvin Gaye” seated at the piano. Eventually, Trainer, who is featured on the track, took to the stage to belt out the tune as he continued to play. As the song came to a close, Puth vacated the piano, and planted a kiss that turned into a full-on make-out in front of the AMA crowd.
Following the performance, Puth tried to shoot down dating rumors before they could even get started, tweeting that he and Trainor are merely just friends and implying that the kiss was all a part of the performance.
Trainor also made light of the onstage kiss, captioning a picture of the moment of faux passion, “All about dat ass grab doe @charlieputh proud of you Charlie,” adding, “#imsingle.”
