Charlie Hunnam was spotted grabbing a bite to eat in between shooting scenes for the final season of Sons of Anarchy Friday afternoon.

Hunnam’s outfit as Jax Teller included dark jeans and a plaid shirt under a black vest. He completed the look with a pair of white sneakers and a belt with a large gold buckle. Walking through the downtown Los Angeles set, Hunnam swung a backpack over his shoulder and carried his lunch with him in a Styrofoam container.
Since landing the lead role on FX’s Sons of Anarchy in which he plays the head of a California motorcycle gang, Hunnam has been in high demand. The British-born actor had landed the enviable role of Christian Grey in the Fifty Shades of Grey film, but had to walk away from the project due to a scheduling conflict with Guillermo del Toro’s Crimson Peak – which is slated to premiere in October 2015.
While it was rumored that Hunnam opted not to participate in the Fifty Shades movie due to fear that it could harm his career, the actor has maintained that he truly wanted to star in the adaptation of E.L. James’ trio of erotic novels and still plans on heading to a theater to watch the final product.

"I'm just really excited to see it. I was just really, really invested and wanted to work with [director] Sam [Taylor-Johnson] and play that character. I'm really, really curious," Hunnam said at a Television Critics Association Conference. "I don't think people have had unchaperoned access to me since all of this went on. The CliffsNotes were exactly what we said. I couldn't do it because of schedule. It was as simple as that."
Sons of Anarchy’s final season will premiere Sept. 9 on FX at 10/9c.
