Celine Dion Pregnant With Twins

Less than a year after her miscarriage, Canadian pop singer Celine Dion, 42, is pregnant with twins after months of battling infertility, rounds of in-vitro treatments and acupuncture.

"We’re ecstatic," her husband/manager Ren Angelil tells People.com. "Celine is just hoping for a healthy pregnancy. She was hoping for one baby and the news that we are having two is a double blessing!" The couple will find out the gender of the twins next month.

Dion finally conceived after the sixth in-vitro attempt. The singer said she had weekly sonograms to see if the pregnancy would stick this time. "My doctors had to constantly reassure me. I [wanted] to see the babies," she said. "I never gave up … but I can tell you that it was physically and mentally exhausting." Dion is about 14 weeks into her pregnancy.
