Celebrities are taking to Twitter to spread the love on Valentine’s Day with messages to their followers whether taken or single.

One Direction stars Niall Horan and Harry Styles replied to Valentine’s Day cards from their fans. “Happy valentines day everyone! Love you all so much!” Niall tweeted. “My only card of the day so far from a little girl called Freya! thank you Freya!” Styles, also receiving a card from Freya said, “Freya and Noola nice to meet you this morning! Thanks Noola for my valentines card. Happy Valentines day!”

American Idol judge Mariah Carey tweeted, “Happy Valentine’s Day lovers!!!! Our valentine’s day began last night…TBC: ),” with a picture of her kissing husband Nick Cannon. Rihanna, on the other hand is forgoing celebrating with a person (aka Chris Brown). “Love me…I’m #DOPE” with a photo reading, “Mary Jane will be my Valentine.”

Trainer Jillian Michaels and Modern Family actress Sarah Hyland also sent out Valentine’s Day messages to their followers. Michaels simply tweeted, “Happy Valentines day hotties!” While Hyland wrote, “Happy Valentine’s day!!! Whether you have a partner or are just being awesome on your own, have an amazing day and take time to appreciate ☺”

“Call Me Maybe” singer Carly Rae Jepsen joked, “Valentines~sigh. I’ve decided to announce my new single on the day of love. Kind of ironic –”Tonight I’m Getting Over You.”

And not just the female celebs shared the love on Twitter. Rapper 50 Cent said, “Happy Valentine’s day to every women who reads this. If you don’t have anyone special at the moment. I’m your Valentine.”
