"Happy Fathers Day" messages are trending on Twitter on Sunday, with celebrities counting among the thousands who took to the social media site to wish their dads and those of others a special day.

“Happy Father’s Day to my brilliant, kind, amazing dad, who still thinks I’m probably a little young to drink coffee,” wrote actress Olivia Wilde with the droll hashtag, “#dontlethimgoogleme.” Also showing his sense of humor was Scrubs actor Zach Braff, who wrote, Dear Dads, thanks for fertilizing the egg with your seed.”

Going in a more poignant direction was John Stamos, writing, “Maybe i haven’t become a father yet cause deep down i know i could never compare to my own. hero, best friend, disciplined & hardworking.” With Ozzy Osbourne for a father, Fashion Police host Kelly Osbourne tweeted, “#HappyFathersday Dad I love you so much & I am so proud to be your daughter!” “HFD to all the dads I know,” wrote Alec Baldwin before he too referenced his own dad, tweeting, “And, especially, to my own. Wherever you are.”

The Bachelor contestant and the ultimate winner of Sean Lowe’s heart, Catherine Giudici, took to twitter to write, “Happy Father’s Day to my beloved pappy and future one! And to the pops of our beautiful pups @SeanLowe09 🙂 Cheers to all the daddies!” Alicia Keys also spread the good wishes on Father’s Day, tweeting, “Fathers are so special! One of ones! I wish all of the beautiful fathers out there a special celebrated day! WE Cherish you!!! #FathersDay.

Lena Dunham, calling out the irony of Father’s Day wishes on Twitter, wrote,Hey papa. You’re my best friend and my great inspiration and the luckiest thing that ever happened to me. I love you (and you hate twitter.)”
