Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood
Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley have been tapped to return as the 2015 Country Music Association Awards hosts.
Underwood and Paisley – for the eighth time – will host the CMA Awards this coming November. The news was announced with a video that played during ABC’s CMA Music Festival: Country’s Night to Rock special Tuesday night.
The two-minute announcement featured highlight clips and outtakes from Underwood and Paisley’s previous seven efforts hosting the country music awards show.
Underwood and Paisley, in addition to taking up hosting duties at the CMAs, typically take home awards. Underwood, who got her start on American Idol, has won Female Vocalist of the Year three times, Single of the Year once and the Horizon Award. As for Paisley, he’s taken home a total of 14 CMAs, including Vocal Event of the Year, Music Video of the Year and Album of the Year.
This years CMA Awards nominees will be announced in the near future.
The 2015 CMA Awards will air on ABC Nov. 4 at 8/7c.
