Caroline Manzo Files Lawsuit Against Bravo For Sexual Harassment & Assault On ‘Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip’

Caroline Manzo, who starred in the reality TV show Real Housewives of New Jersey and was a part of the reality event Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip, has filed a lawsuit against Bravo network, alleging that they allowed her co-star Brandi Glanville to commit “acts of sexual harassment and assault” while filming.

Court documents from the case reveal that Manzo is suing because the network would “regularly ply the Real Housewives cast with alcohol, cause them to become severely intoxicated, and then direct, encourage and/or allow them to sexually harass other cast members because that is good for ratings.”

Glanville reportedly kissed Manzo several times without consent and the network did nothing about the issue.

In an interview with EW, Derek Smith, Manzo’s lawyer on the case, stated that “networks should always be concerned about the safety of their employees. The Housewives are not their pawns to abuse for ‘drama’ purposes.”

“We believe this case is about the networks selfishly sacrificing the well-being of their talent for ratings and profit. Brandi Glanville stated she was simply doing what the producers told her to do. Reality TV is leading to severe emotional and physical harm of its talent. This must stop.”

A representative for Glanville commented on the case, “She is innocent of these absurd accusations that have weighed on her mental and physical health for far too long without a word of support from Peacock, Shed or Bravo…This painful storytelling seems endless and needs to stop. She is looking to move on and upward and get her life back.”

Manzo claims that Glanville should have never been hired for the show due to her prior history of sexual misconduct. Additionally, Manzo addresses the fact that Glanville was not required to participate in a mandatory sexual harassment training course before filming Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip.

In Manzo’s filing, the reality star refers to herself as a “victim of those harmful actions,” and she discourages Bravo from “continuing to sacrifice their cast members’ safety for their own ratings and profits.”

Both Manzo and Glanville stepped away from the series before Bravo was done filming the season.
