Carly Pearce is not letting one bad fall stop her.
The singer was performing in Iowa on Thursday when she slipped and fell while wearing cowboy boots. Although the fall looked hard, she got up and kept singing.
After her show she went onto Twitter on Friday and joked about the incident, “Well there’s a first time for everything and I sure busted my booty tonight in Iowa. Who has a video? 😂”
On Saturday, she came back onto Twitter after someone sent her a video compilation of her falling to the beat of “Hollaback” by Gwen Stefani. She captioned the post, “First fall on stage, better make it count 😂🙈🤦🏼♀️”
She later updated fans who were concerned for her in the comments. “IM OK! Just sore!!” she wrote.
Pearce is currently performing across the U.S. on her tour, which is set to end in October. Blake Shelton joined her on tour earlier in the year as her opener.
Pearce is good friends with Shelton and his wife Stefani – she recently sang with Stefani in April at the CMT Music Awards. The two performed “Just A Girl” by No Doubt as a duet.
