The rapper Cardi B is working non-stop. She is continuing her acting career and just announced that she will join the highly anticipated sequel, Fast & Furious 9.

The news broke after one of the main stars/directors of the movie, Vin Dieselposted a video from the set with Cardi by his side, on his Instagram. Diesel captioned the video “Last day in the UK! Pa mi Gente… #Fast92020 #Fatherhood.”

“Day 86 here on the set of Fast 9,” he says in the video. “I know I’m exhausted.” Diesel added, “We all gave every single thing we could for this movie. Put it all on the table.”
Cardi agreed. “I’m tired,” she said. “But I can’t wait. I ain’t gonna front, I think this is gonna be the best one.”

Cardi recently made her big screen debut in the Jennifer Lopez-led stripper movie Hustlers.

Puerto Rican singer Ozuna has also been cast in an unnamed part in the movie. The Latin trap singer does have some acting experience, as he starred in the Spanish-language movie Qué León and will reprise his role in the sequel Los Leones. He surely is much more well-known for his music, with his videos charting near or over 1 billion views to make him one of the most viewed artists on the YouTube platform.

Fast & Furious 9 is set to premiere in theaters on May 22, 2020. The franchise will then continue in 2021 with another untitled sequel, followed by a female-led spin-off also currently in development.
