Cardi B Deletes Her Instagram After BET Tweet, Trolling About Grammy Win [VIDEO]

Cardi B has had enough of online trolls following her Grammy win for best rap album at Sunday’s awards show.

Right after receiving her award, which many have criticized her of being “undeserving,” BET sent out a tweet that pitted Cardi B against Nicki Minaj saying, “Meanwhile, Nicki Minaj is being dragged by her lacefront.” The “Bodak Yellow” rapper then took to Instagram in an expletive-filled rant where she called out the network and criticizers.

In the video which a fan account captured from Cardi B’s now deactivated Instagram account, Cardi B says, “it’s not my style for people to put other people down to uplift somebody else, that’s not my style and that’s not what I’m with and I don’t support that.”

“However, I been taking a lot of s— today, I’m seeing a lot of bulls— today and I saw a lot of s— last night. And I’m sick of this s—. I worked hard for my motherf— album,” she continued.

The 26-year-old rapper then went into explaining how much work she had put into recording Invasion Of Privacy and the reaction she had from last year’s Grammys results, where she lost best rap performance and best rap song for her track “Bodak Yellow.”

“I remember last year when I didn’t win for ‘Bodak Yellow’ and everybody was like, ‘Cardi got snubbed,’” she recalled. “Now this year’s a f— problem?! My album went two-time platinum, my n—, and every chart that there was, my album was always Top 10. Number one album, as well.”

“I f—ing worked my a— off, locked myself in the studio for three months, my n—-, then went to sleep in my own bed, sometimes for four days straight, pregnant. Some songs couldn’t even get on the f—ing album because my nose was so f—ing stuffy from my pregnancy. N—-s couldn’t sleep, n—-s couldn’t do s—,” she continued.

“While everybody was harassing me like, ‘You’re not gonna do it, we know you pregnant, your career’s over…’” she added.

Since posting the now-deleted video, Cardi B has completely deactivated her Instagram account. But although she may be dodging the Grammy and BET drama now, she may be facing more in Houston. As on March 1, she is expected to perform at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, which nearly 15,000 people have signed a petition asking her to drop out.

The online petition which is hosted by Care 2 claims that the show abuses animals and feels that the rapper’s love for animals should be a reason for her to bow out.

“She may not know all the ways animals are being abused to make this Houston event go on though,” the petition reads. “That’s why it’s up to us, her fans, to ask her not to use her name and popularity to support such gruesome behavior.”
