Cardi B Accidentally Posts Topless Photo, Twitter Blows Up With Memes Of Her Areolas

Rapper Cardi B accidentally posted a topless photo to her Instagram stories last night, causing thousands of brutal Twitter trolls to make fun of her exposed body, and thousands more fans to come to her defense.

Just after making the post, Cardi B posted a voice tweet addressing her story, clearly frustrated at herself but quickly coming to terms with her mistake.

“I’m not even gonna think about it,” she mumbles in the audio. “I am not going to think about it, ok? No, I’m not. I won’t. It is what it is. S– happened. Um, f– it. It’s not even the first time. I mean, I used to f–ing be a stripper, so whatever. Ay dios mio.”

On Twitter, however, millions of people had already seen the photo and responded to it by making fun of the size of her areolas.

It wasn’t long before fans rushed to her defense, retaliating with memes about how Cardi is still attractive and making fun of people shaming her body. A trend also began where women posted topless photos of themselves to support Cardi and normalize different kinds of natural breasts, tagging the pictures with #BoobsOutForCardi.

Besides the memes, the larger message many Twitter users got from the media mishap was not necessarily about Cardi’s areolas at all, but instead about the way women and women’s bodies are treated in the media, especially in tandem with recent memes shaming Billie Eilish for her body type.
