Cara Delevingne confronted Richard Madden on Twitter after the Game of Thrones actor weighed in on her infamous interview with Good Day Sacramento.
Madden, in a recent interview, was asked for his thoughts on how Delevingne handled the unfortunate interview while promoting her latest film, Paper Towns. The interview in question has divided people, leaving some feeling as though Delevingne appeared bratty, and others believing that the trio of interviewers had been unprofessional.
“It made her seem ungrateful,” Madden opined of the viral interview with Style. “She showed her age. For Cinderella, I did six weeks of those interviews, where you get asked the same eight questions. If you’re not capable of doing that gracefully, then don’t do it.”
After Madden’s comments spread across the Internet, Delevingne took to Twitter to confront the Scottish actor.
“I have no idea who you are but I think it’s little desperate for a grown man to be bad mouthing someone they don’t know,” Delevingne tweeted. “If you really want attention that badly, try focusing on your own work and not other people’s”
Delevingne also re-tweeted a fan account that posted a meme of the model-turned-actress appearing to give the side-eye, captioned, “Richard, what’s good?”
Responding to Delevingne, Madden claimed that he had nothing against her, that he had been misquoted and that a slow news week had made the story bigger than it needed to be.
